do i have to go to a phone company to activate my GSM mobile phone that i just bought from ebay?
or can i just use it right away? what is a sim card? does a sim card goes with the phone that i’ll buy? please help!
check brand name on the phone (Verizon , cingular, T- mobile etc)
if you sim card is different from name on phone – that phone has to be unlocked. Who can do it? – check local cell phone sellers.
so before buying make sure its already unlocked of carrier matches your sim card
