Phone Verizon
Can I get a verizon phone and activate it when alltel merge with verizon?
I am currently an alltel customer. I got a letter stating that I will officially be a verizon customer July 12.2009. I have been wanting a this verizon phone forever. So I was wondering if I could get a lg voyager or Lg env touch and activate it.
I was planning on buying one from craigslist.
I am sorry, they will continue to merge throughout the rest of the year and will not be able to activate a Verizon phone while you are still on the Alltel network. Now if you have 4 or less months left on your current contract, then you can switch to Verizon without paying the cancellation fee and buy a Verizon plan as well as a Verizon phone. Alltel is unable to use a Verizon phone because Verizon has features that are not available on the Alltel network, such as Vcast and Navigator, but although you may not use them, the phone will not work properly.
