Quadband Unlocked
Would a quadband phone bought in Europe work in the states?
I’m currently living in Italy, but I am about to move to the states. I know that the states have a different way of using cellphones, so I don’t know what I should do.
Some companies in the states are opening up to SIM cards, I think. So would an unlocked quadband phone that I buy in Italy work with a company that uses SIM cards in the states?
I have a contract with T-Mobile and some of their phones are quadband phones. All of their phones require SIM cards so I think you will be ok. Maybe contact them through their website just to make sure. Cingular/ATT (whatever it is now) also uses SIM cards in their phones.
